Elsternwick Campus witnessed an extraordinary cultural celebration in Term 1 as our PYP students immersed themselves in the magic of the Chinese New Year.
The festivities kicked-off with a traditional Chinese shadow puppet show, enchanting all PYP students from ECLC to Year 6.
Students from Years 1 to 4 had the unique opportunity to participate in three immersive workshops: Percussion, Kung Fu/Dance and Lion Dance.
After the workshop, students took centre stage, showcasing their newfound skills to their ECLC and Prep student audience. The auditorium came alive with the sights and sounds of traditional Chinese performances.
The Chinese New Year incursion was a celebration of unity, cultural appreciation, and the spirit of global citizenship that defines our Wesley community.
