OWCA Bowls
The OWCA Bowls season is set to commence in September 2023 with our annual match against the West Brighton Club. We have not been able to hold this event for the past two years due to COVID, but we are hopeful that we can return to our normal schedule of games this year.
OWCA Bowls finished last season on a high in equal second position, but were relegated to third place on percentage. This the best result we have had for several years. Xavier won the event by one point from Old Carey and OWCA. We hope to claim the prize in 2023.
It was fabulous to have our OWCA President, Kate Evans (OW1998) with us for the luncheon at the Glen Waverley Bowling Club. Kate inspired our team as we won all our matches after lunch to almost finish winners on the day.
