Junior School students were excited to perform for their friends and family and showcase their learning at two recent concerts at the Glen Waverley Campus.
The Junior School Music Concert, held in the final week of term, featured performances from Years 3 and 4 and highlighted the work of our classroom instrumental programs and our ensembles the Junior Strings, Piccolo Canto and Year 4 Percussion. The concert culminated in a lively finale of massed school singing.
Earlier in the term, our mini musicians were encouraged to perform and play as part of the Junior School Recital in the Conabere Multipurpose Space. For many, this was a first step towards performing publicly, and our budding musicians were appreciative of the support and enthusiasm of the audience of friends, family and staff. Our students all proved themselves to be capable performers, showcasing piano, cello, violin and percussion skills across a range of abilities and stages of learning.
We look forward to seeing them develop as performers throughout the rest of the year.
