Year 12 graduates receive VCE Premier's Award

VCE Premiers Awards

Lachlan Wilson and Chloe Sund (pictured above) from Wesley Glen Waverley’s Class of 2015 have been recognised with Premier’s VCE Awards for outstanding academic achievement.

Lachlan received an award for Physics and Chloe for Community Service and they received their awards at the official awards ceremony on Thursday 28 April, which was hosted by the Governor of Victoria, Her Excellency the Honourable Linda Dessau AM.

Chloe and Lachlan were among 289 students from 132 schools across Victoria to receive an award based on their VCE study score.

Individual graded assessment scores are used to determine the top group of students for VCE study awards in each subject each year and students must have a study score of 46 or above to be eligible for the award.

Both Chloe and Lachlan have commenced tertiary study since completing Year 12 at Wesley in 2015. Chloe is doing a double degree in Criminology and Psychology at Deakin University and Lachlan is currently studying Science at The University of Melbourne and is considering majoring in Chemistry, Physics or Engineering.

Chloe has also continued her association with Wesley, commencing netball coaching in April and also working part-time as a junior netball coach. We congratulate both Chloe and Lachlan on their wonderful achievements and wish them both well, as they embark on their tertiary studies.
