Australian Combined Schools Music Festival
Twenty students from across Wesley College attended the 20th Australian Combined Schools Music Festival. This biennial festival was hosted this year by Canberra Grammar School.
163 interstate music students joined 94 music students in Canberra to form an amazing choir, symphonic band and symphony orchestra. Students had the privilege of working with distinguished conductors Sam Allchurch, Ingrid Martin and Benjamin Northey.
Four days of focused rehearsals culminated in an incredible festival concert at the Great Hall, Parliament House, Canberra. The festival was an unforgettable experience for students, tackling musical challenges in a professional environment, exploring Canberra and, of course, making many new friends!
