Scholarships FAQs 2026

The number of scholarships offered each year varies depending on the quality and strength of the application pool.

Wesley College typically offers scholarships between a 25% and 80% reduction in tuition fees.

All Wesley scholarships are awarded on merit. Wesley also offers an optional means-tested component to all merit-based scholarships. The means-tested component is scaled and informed by the personal and financial circumstances of families shared through the scholarship application process. Families will be asked to complete an additional means-tested application and provide supporting documentation (e.g. tax returns). Financial assistance may be reviewed, and adjustments may be made should financial circumstances change significantly.

No. We offer a General Excellence scholarship. Students with outstanding sporting abilities (typically competing at a state or national level) are encouraged to apply for a General Excellence scholarship.

Successful shortlisted applicants will be invited for an interview in February 2025. All applicants will be advised of the outcome of their scholarship application by Term 2 2025 at the latest.
Academic Excellence test results are unable to be released to families.

Due to the high volume of scholarship applications, Wesley College does not provide individual feedback to students whose application has not been successful.

Successful applicants will be sent a letter of offer via email. To formally accept, applicants pay a one-off confirmation fee of $1,200 and tuition contribution fee of $2,800. These fees are non-refundable and non-transferrable.

Students may apply for a number of different scholarships if they meet the selection criteria.
