Students from around the world join our diverse community. Wesley College Melbourne welcomes international students from over 10 different countries across Asia and Europe.

Students choose Wesley because of its strong reputation, excellent academic results, outstanding student care, and tailored in house English Language Preparation Program.

Our international students reside in Wesley's contemporary boarding facility, Learning in Residence (Years 9 – 12). Younger international students in Years 7 and 8, must reside with a parent or DHA approved relative. Students in Year 9, who are over 13 years of age, may also reside in a Wesley College-approved homestay.

Entry points

Secondary school spans a six-year period from Year 7 to Year 12 inclusive and operates on a calendar year basis from January to December. We offer entry places for international students from Years 7 to 11. Typically, international students commence at Wesley College in Years 7 to 10 and many undertake our in-house English Language Preparation Program before transitioning to mainstream schooling. During Year 10, students select either the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) or the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP) for their final two years of schooling in Years 11 and 12. Year 12 concludes with formal exams around November each year and results are released in early December.
