Wesley College is an open-entry, coeducational, day and boarding school. Girls and boys join the College from a diverse range of backgrounds and with a variety of academic and cocurricular interests.
As places at the College are in high demand, we encourage families to apply for enrolment as early as possible and we accept applications from birth.
All applications are assigned to the waitlist. The College considers a range of criteria when making enrolment offers, including but not limited to:
- children with siblings already attending the College
- children or grandchildren of Old Collegians
- gender balance of each year level
- interests and activities of the student
- children of permanent staff members
- academic performance and school reports for students seeking entry to the Senior School (Years 10-12)
- applications for boarding
- date of application

Vacancies arise from time to time in year levels outside the key intakes listed. We accept applications for all year levels across the College. Please contact the relevant Campus admissions team to discuss waitlist options for your child.
Age requirements
For entry into three- and four-year-old Early Childhood Learning Centre (ECLC) and Prep, please note the following age requirements for entry:
Three-year-old ECLC | To commence three year old ECLC, children must be three years old by 30 April in their year of commencement. Note: Priority is given to children who turn three years of age by 31st January in their year of commencement. |

Prep | To commence Prep in Term 1, children must turn five by 30 April in their year of entry. |

A domestic applicant is a child who is an:
- Australian citizen, or
- Australian permanent resident, or
- Australian temporary resident.
