From the earliest days, donors to Wesley College have partnered to support the success we know today.
The generous philanthropy of generations of donors is recognised through membership of the Wesley College Foundation, induction to the Nicholas Circle, and through the Sapere Aude Bequest Society. The College also honours donors through the stories of impact in the Lion magazine, at events and in honour rolls on campus.
The generosity of our donors is greatly appreciated and recognised by staff, students, alumni, parents and the wider community of friends of Wesley College. John Wesley’s entreaty to “do all the good you can, in all the ways you can, to all the people you can” is visible today in the work of the Wesley College, enabled by the generosity of our donors.
The Nicholas Circle
The Nicholas Circle was established in 2017 in recognition of the extraordinary contribution of the Nicholas family. Membership of the Nicholas Circle acknowledges and celebrates philanthropists who have made a cash donation of $1m either in their lifetime or through a bequest in their Will to the Wesley College Foundation.
The Sapere Aude Bequest Society
The Sapere Aude Bequest Society was established in 1996 and has been sustained and developed from generation to generation by wonderful, inspiring acts of generosity, large and small. Bequestors are welcomed as members of the Society, and join a great coterie of alumni, current and past parents, staff and friends of the College who have made provision for Wesley in their Will. Every bequest, irrespective of its size, makes a difference.
We acknowledge and honour the pivotal contribution that members play in helping to secure the future of our College. The Society provides an extensive and varied range of activities that reflect the rich educational, cultural and recreational life of the College and the broader community.

The transformative gift of learning through Wesley's named scholarships and bursaries symbolise more than just financial support; they epitomise a legacy of enlightenment, a legacy that Wesley families are resolute in passing down. These families are paving the way for talented, aspiring students to achieve their dreams, fostering a cycle of knowledge, ambition, and progress.
