"It was a very special and life-changing event for me when I received the scholarship to Wesley because it wouldn't have been possible for me to attend without this support. I was there on a music scholarship and the musical knowledge that I learned still resonates with me as a professional musician today. To those who left a bequest in their Will to be directed to scholarships, and to those who donated funds that enabled students like myself to have this start in life, I would like to say thank you on behalf of all of us. It literally changes lives"

"I was lucky enough to win a scholarship to become a boarder at Wesley, and I came down from Ballarat in 1944, a wartime year. I owe a debt to Wesley and the masters and boys of that Spartan era. I hope that more and more of such scholarships will be provided by generous donors."

"MLC Elsternwick is now happily settled as a campus of Wesley College. The school has always held a special place for me, as it has for many other students, and it is exciting to see a new generation of children and staff who cherish the rich history of the school and expansion in its educational, cultural and sporting programs. My gift will help support a scholarship for a child who may be unable to attend the Elsternwick campus without some financial assistance."
